Pregnancy support belt?

I'm looking for any feedback/recommendations/experiences etc on pregnancy support belts...I really want to try one this time, in hopes that I can avoid some of the horrid pelvic pain I had last time around...I also read that it can be helpful for fetal positioning.

I looked on Amazon but it seems like there are many different kinds, and I feel lost! I'd love to hear some recommendations and personal experiences.

Thanks ladies!

I found one at Motherhood Maternity that I loved. It really helped with the terrible RLP I had last pregnancy.

Do any stores around you have them, so you could try them on and get a good fit? My chiropractor recommended I get one, and she said to go to a specialty mother/baby store in town where they could fit me for one.

Hmm, That's a good question, I don't know! I'll have to check into it but I'm glad you mentioned it because I never even thought about having to get fitted!

My SIL gave me one and it doesn't fit at all. So yeah, I'd go get fitted rather than order an ill-fittting one...

I used a Medela one with my oldest and it was great. But I was able to try on several at the baby boutique, and was surprised that one ended up being the comfy one. So, yes, definitely try a few on before you decide!

On the flip side, anyone thinking about postpartum wrapping? I did tons of research and decided on the Bellefit model. There was a gorgeous one I loved called the Happiness Sash, but sadly, they are not making it anymore. That one is way more my style, but I like that the Bellefit can be worn all the time under clothes.
