Anyone could confirm if Organic foods might indeed contain hidden Aspartime?

I was searching for more info aobut the newest research by Harvard on Fluoride actually lowering IQ of kids (saddly true) and I stumbled across this post regarding Aspartime hidden in some form in many organic foods. I shop organic frequently and I am wondering if this is really true and if so how to avoid it? Is there any way of knowing which foods are affected if it is not even labeled - required to be labeled. Any facts or guesses?

Are raw veggies and fruits affected in any way? I would supposed not,

but after learning that even some organic companies found a way around adding preservatives to the food containers that directly affects the food yet not being added TO THE FOOD does not need to be labeled.. I am all frustrated.

Please any info?

Please give more detailed information. Where did you find the information about preservatives and aspartame?

Just checked Google.

Neotame, a more toxic form of aspartame was given approval to be in organic and kosher food . The article was dated Dec 31, 2010. It can be added without being listed on the lable. Monsanto is involved in Neotame.

This affects processed food, but not fruits and vegetables. Before you breathe a sigh of relief, however, they are allowed to drizzle it on the organic feed for cattle, so your organic beef and milk may have it.

Preservatives (synthetic) can be added to organic baby formula without being mentioned. I do not have a date on that one. I believe the article said there was a lawsuit over this.

At least this is the way I read it.

I was told on another thread that this info was incorrect and it was an Internet hoax. I did, in fact, find another site proclaiming it to be a hoax. All attempts to find other information have been unsuccessful. I don't know what to believe on this subject.

Sorry for adding to the confusion. I'm glad you brought it ip again. Maybe someone else can get better information.
