Hey guys here is my birth video!

I had a midwife but asked her to not do anything and leave me to it. It was fantastic and technically unassisted as no one was there when she was born and I had no checks at all, just went with my body while the midwife had a cup of tea with my mother in law in the other room. 

 

I hope this inspires you to plan a wonderful home birth too!

Well thanks! I also forgot to mention that this was almost 3 YEARS ago! 2whistle.gif I'm now pregnant with my next baby/babies and thought it was about time I shared this video!

I didn't get a chance to watch your birth video, but will try to at some time. It sounds similar to what I experienced. :)

 

I had a little pain, but not much. My midwife didn't interfere and let me do my own thing too. However, she did massage the area to help it stretch so I wouldn't tear (which worked) and helped my husband catch our daughter. He loved it.

 

Anyways, congrats on your amazing birth and I wanted to let you know that I love your daughter's name. It's really pretty and I love the spelling.
