Midwives near Astoria, OR or Portland, OR

I am new to the Oregon area...actually living in Seaside and just found out I was pregnant.  What is the good word on CNM's/licensed midwives/naturopathic doctors in this area?  Also-any information on good/bad experiences with birth centers/organizations in Portland area?

I don't know of anyone in the immediate Astoria/Seaside area, so you may have to drive into Portland or Vancouver. You could try Jennifer Childress. I think she travels? In Portland, Alma & Andaluz are the two most popular/well-known birth centers.

Mary Grabowska is a wonderful ND who does homebirths. We live in DC but always see her when we're in Portland (I grew up in Portland).
