My almost-4-year-old still needs a diaper at night, but he's 48 lbs and wears a size 6. For the past year he's been wearing a Proraps XL cover, but he's definitely too big for it now. Any suggestions for a bigger cover? I'm about to resort to using disposables, which I'd rather not do.

post #2 of 48/27/12 at 8:24pmHow about a wool cover? We use disana, but my kiddos are younger, so I'm not sure how that would fit him. The nice thing about wool is that you can always have someone custom knit them.

Huh - I hadn't thought of wool. I've never tried it before since it's so much more expensive than the PUL covers that I've been plenty pleased with. I don't know where I would find someone to custom knit it for me, but it might be worth looking into. Thanks for the suggestion :)
post #4 of 48/29/12 at 1:14pmYes, they're more expensive, but they're worth it, and you can re-sell them later. I haven't had any custom knits, so I wouldn't know who to recommend, but you can try searching hyenacart, diaperswappers, etsy... perhaps you could also find some "gently loved" ones instead of new ones.
