Respectfully, why is this a contest? It would be more ethical simply to have a list of "MDC friendly doctors" rather than try to use the excuse of a contest to collect date and information, if thats what the goal is.
I have a very supportive ped who was very open to me delaying and selecting my vaxes and went through the process with me. However, I don't doubt for a minute that she would be very upset if i advertised her name all over a message board that has a strong anti-vax agenda. A general list of doctor recommendations would be ok, but advertising what these doctors do and don't do for us may not be appreciated. They are professionals, within a professional community, and I know in my own career, it wouldn't sit well with me. i.e. if i am a Propane Gas salesperson, I would not like if a customer told the internet about the giant discount I gave them as a favor or because of a good relationship with them.
Might i propose that, as with many nominations for public contests, that the people submitting the names and private experiences of their doctors simple ASK their doctor if its ok that they do so? Then again, if it was just a list of MDC friendly doctors available for recommendation (leaving out the private details), and not a contest, then no permission is necessary.
