Reassure me please! « Back to Group Discussions

I keep getting these cramps on both sides of lower abdomin (one side at a time).  Usually when I'm lying down and the cramp tightens so much that I can't even roll over without pain. After a few minutes, it's gone.  I know I've felt isolated incidents of this in prior pregnancies but this has happened at least 3 times in the last 24 hours!  You'd think being that this is the fourth one, I'd not need to ask but is this typical for some people?

It's probably round ligament pains.  I've had some pretty bad ones!

I've had some of those, too. I also wondered if I'm the only one and if it's possible to have round ligament pain so early? I've also noticed a tightening feeling when I get up after sitting for a long while. Braxton-Hicks already? My baby will fly out when I'm in labor because my uterus will be super strong! :-)

I think some of the pain on the right side might be intestinal, too. Like, I can feel something trying to get around the bend, if you know what I mean.

It's probably just ligaments assuming the position. THey know what to do so well now ;). If you are worried never hesitate to call your care provider. Better to annoy them with questions than to have what ifs down the road. :)

I had really tight ligaments with ds 1. I found a chiropractor who worked with pregnant women and it helped a lot! I'm wanting to see a chiro through this pregnancy too.
