Also, does anyone have any tips or suggestions for brewing it? I've never made tea from loose leaves before!

Yep!  That's what I do every day (drink it cold).  Here's my routine:

Before bed I take a quart-size mason jar and add 1/4 C RRL, 1/2 C nettles, and sometimes 1/4 C alfalfa, all loose leaf, all packed down.  Then I fill the jar with boiling water and just prop a lid on top (don't screw it on tightly).

I let it steep overnight, and the next morning I take a fine-mesh sieve, set it over a funnel that is placed in another quart-size mason jar, and strain the liquid into the second jar, pressing the leaves with a spoon to extract all the liquid.  I top off the tea with water until the jar is full, and then I dilute it half-strength all day long.  So I fill a glass half with the tea, half with water or seltzer.  I end up drinking 2 quarts per day this way.  I love it cold! WIth a squeeze of lemon - so refreshing.

Thank you, pastormama! I'm inspired to try and drink as much as you. Thank you so much for sharing your method!

Can be frozen into cubes for labour.  Also listed as a morning sickness aid/remedy.  Pour over ice and drink slowly.

I woke up this morning motivated to make this. Didn't add the cal-mag because I don't have any on hand, but I just ordered a bottle from Amazon!

I tried it with raw honey... not a good idea, I couldn't get it to dissolve/stir in, so I ended up with clumps of honey. Going to go with the cheap honey next time!

pastormama- do you let it steep on the counter or in the fridge?

On the counter. I wouldn't put a glass jar full of boiling water in the fridge since it might shatter. After I strain in the morning I refrigerate.

I went back and looked at what you ladies are doing differently in the 3rd tri- looks like I need to go buy some EPO!

So I finally got around to ordering EPO this past weekend, and it came in the mail today. This is what I ordered: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009ET4JA/ref=pe_309540_26725410_item

I'm 38 weeks (tomorrow) and the pills are 1300mg; I'm thinking 1 am and 1 pm orally, and 1 pm vaginally. Is anyone else doing this? How much?

Do you break or puncture the pill before inserting it up there? Or will it dissolve over night? The pills are pretty dark, so I wonder if I need to worry about stains...

TJ, I think I always wore a pantyliner with the EPO.  It did tend to leak out some.

I don't think I punctured them as I'm pretty sure the heat and moisture from my body were enough to break down the exterior.
