Name help!

Thread Starter

Hey all!  So we had decided on Nova Trinity for this baby.. however, while at work, a coworker mentioned a name of a friend of his- Maximanova.  They call her Max, and also Nova.  I really, really like this name.  It translates to "great and new" or "great explosion" depending on how you look at it =P  Could also perhaps mean great star..

Anyways, I could separate it and make it Maxima Nova, but I could also do Maximanova ____ Lastname.  Ideas for a middle name if I do that?  Last name starts with A, is 5 letters long,  and has three short "a" sounds in it.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! i was trying to talk DH into Nova and he wont go for it i love that name!  i guess the question here is if you really want people to call be nova or if your equally ok with people going with either Max or Nova how about Aroura for a middle name? i reallly like that one too and it goes with your theme and depending on the sound of the A in your middle name it might have a nice aliteraton sound to it ^_^

Do you want classic, trendy, old fashioned, creative, unusual, nature for a middle name?

Celeste

Kendra

Pearl

etc...

I think Trinity goes well with Maximanova.

I personally would shy away from Maxima as a name simply because it has the potential to be awkward for a girl who may be "maximum" (large) sized.

I have to agree with that.

How about Anova, Inanova, or Imanova? Those could all work with Trinity for a middle name.

With a long and 'big' (with meaning and multiples names) first name like that, I would definitely only do a simple one syllable middle name. Lots of gorgeous options. If I had another little girl I think I would use Dove for a middle.
