what happened to my avatar!?

My avatar seemed to change itself. I'm not exactly sure what I did that changed it, and cannot get it to change back! I would love some help!

Was your avatar an image you uploaded yourself or did you have one of the Mothering avatars?

It was a mothering avatar. It was automatically selected for me when I first signed on, joined, whatever the proper verbage. It was the globe with all the children around.

I don't understand how it got changed. And why I cannot replace the new one is beyond me, as well.
