Bladder infection

Hi there, My daughter had a really bad diaper rash 2 weeks ago so we took her to the doc and the doc realized she had a bladder infection. She was put in antibiotics which ended Sunday. And now today her bad diaper rash is back. She cries like she's being tortured when you change her and knocks her knees together. Do you think the infection is back?

I don't know about a rash-bladder infection connection but I can say that a reoccuring bladder infection in a toddler can be a sign of other, larger issues. My niece had a tilted bladder that stored urine and resulted in constant infections until they did some testing. She was lucky that it was caught pretty quickly before it did more damage. She had to be on antibiotics for a long time and then had some minor surgury.
