DS is 14 months and we've been using a wonderful diaper service since he was born. I've always kept a couple of AIOs in the diaper bag for quick changes, but we've never had more than three. I am thinking of getting some more and stopping the service, and I was wondering how many you typically have in your stash if you only use AIOs. Thanks in advance!

Edited on 11/2/12How many AIOs?
Sponsored Linkspost #2 of 38/30/12 at 11:00pmI use a lot of pockets instead of AIOs but I thought I'd reply. We have about 16 pockets and that lets me wash every other day. I do have some fitteds for night use but DD wakes 2 to 4 times a night and I always change her. I also have a few flats and a couple of covers and use those when I'm low. I ordered 4 more diapers recently to help me keep laundry to every other day. My DD is 17 months old, a big drinker (nursing and water) and a very heavy wetter. I'd start with a dozen AIOs and see how long they last you. If you're ok with washing every day then they might be enough. HTH- Jennyanydots

Thanks, skycheattraffic
that sounds about right. I was thinking of bringing my supply up to around a dozen or so AIOs (I could go with pockets- I guess I'll need just compare some brands/prices) and maybe a dozen prefolds as backup, etc. we have so many good covers, I'd hate for them to be useless now. Just wasn't sure what other moms do. I do "diaper laundry" every 3 days or so, to wash covers, wipes, and the AIOs we've got now. Every two wouldn't kill me, I don't think.- How many AIOs?
