Sorry, I don't know of any specific 'monitrices' around here. As a doula, I'd very rarely need to check a woman's cervix to have an idea of her dilation/point she's at in labor. It's something I kind of just got accustomed to assessing as an observer of laboring women and being with them so much through full unmedicated labors. So, that part should be less of a worry when hiring an experienced doula, if she of course also feels comfortable when you ask such a question. But, if the FHT are a big necessity/worry for you, then I can say this - what women in your situation have done before is pay out of pocket to hire a homebirth midwife for the time period you'll be at home for, then she can attend you at the hospital as a doula, too.
Where are you having your baby?
Best to you :)
