We are in south east Ohio. The whole state is pretty compact, so I figured you had to be coming close to us. How long will you be in Cincy?

Speaking of traveling, Jaimee, do you want to get together in Indianapolis sometime this fall or winter? Anyone else for whom that's convenient?

That would be fun!  We had a membership to the Indy Children's Museum, but it expired this month and we don't plan on renewing b/c we just don't get there that often.  Other than the museum, Trader Joe's and Costco, we haven't been anywhere else in the city!  Any other ideas for places to meet up?

Congrats guys!!!

 

 

I just officially gave up cloth diapering and Im feeling pretty sad about it.  I tried it all.  My only option is to replace my washing machine and somehow not have hard water.  Its stressing me out.

 

First world problem.  Im sad.

I tried them all.  Pockets, flats, AIO's, prefolds...all different fibers, different soaps, different wash sequences, adding different things like vinegar.  Tried it all.  Im in a vicious stripping cycle.  If I could go back in time and spend half the money on a non-eco-friendly washer I would do it in a heartbeat!

   We are in the middle of moving. We got the keys to our rental on 9/1 and started moving that day. We pretty much got all the big furniture moved over.

   Yesterday i found out there is water in a part of the water heater that shouldn't have it when the gas company came while i was gone. Ugg thankfully i still have all the utilities on at the old house so we have now spend the last two nights driving to the old place to shower at night.

I just looked. I am 3 hours and 43 minutes south of Urbana, IL. I'm 3 1/2 hours south of Indy. So we could DEFINITELY make something happen. I'm down in the southern tip of IN.

So Conner did a LOT yesterday. First, we were out on our back porch, and he CLIMBED the stairs. O_O I was standing behind him for about two steps, then I freaked out and pulled him down. When did he learn that?!?!

 

THEN, I was peeing, and he poked his head around the corner. LOL I go, "Hiii!" And he goes, "Hiii!". Yay!

 

Shortly after, we were watching Maury. The crowd goes, "Ohhh", and not a second later, Conner goes, "AHHH!!!". LOL It's time to start watching what's on TV.

 

And his 6th tooth popped through. =)

 

Yesterday was a BIG day!

Nicole, the climbing is crazy.  We were also surprised when Shay climbed a whole flight of stairs after having climbed nothing before. Now he can climb up on chairs and everything.

 

 

 

Shay seems to be trying to walk.  He takes 6 steps at a time (the kids cheer him on massively and encourage it. Constantly calling to him with their hands a couple of feet from him, they stand him up every time he squats, lol). His cruising now looks more like controlled falling, he is pretty quick. He learned that there are jars of dry goods at head level in the pantry, so it's off limits now.
