Hey all, I'm fairly new to the mothering community. I'm a married, stay at home mom to a 20 month old happy, talkative, and energetic little boy who keeps me busy. We have spent a lot of time this summer outdoors, in the pool, at museums, the library, the pet store, taking pottery classes, and whatever strikes his interest for more than twenty minutes at a time lol. When I have the time or the opportunity I like to camp, hike, cook, scrapbook, avid reader, psychology, sociology, Bible studies, and all those parenting books... they never seem to end?
I joined for the support as well as to see how other parents get by on their day-to-day lives with little ones. I'm always open to advice and growing up the eldest of a large family I have plenty to share. It has been nice to be able to ask questions and get honest feedback. Becoming a parent has been a wonderful journey. As my son grows I can feel myself learning and growing too in ways I never expected, but what a blessing it has been.
