There was a little discussion in the belly thread about feeling movement, but I thought I would start a new thread.

Who else is feeling something! I really thought I was crazy for a week, but there is no doubt I am feeling the bean once in a while! All my other three were much later, I know my first I did not feel until after 20 weeks, my second might have a bit before 20 weeks, but she was huge! My third was probably around 18 week (possibly later!). I think I have been feeling this one since 11 weeks or earlier! It is so cool, looking forward to it being a little more regular. I usually feel something when i climb back into bed after peeing in the middle of the night and then lay awake forever to see if I feel something else. Or just random times when I am curled up reading or something. I am guessing the placenta might be implanted in the back this time or maybe it has to do with my uterus popping so much earlier this time, no clue.

Over 14 weeks here, and nothing yet, though I keep hoping!  It's my first, though, so I am trying not to worry about it at all for at least 2-3 more weeks.

I have been feeling little bubbles/flutters for a little over a week... Not every day, but more than every other day.  I refused to admit what I *knew* it was until I heard the heartbeat on Monday.  Now I am not in denial. I usually feel it while sitting or relaxing after being up and active for a while.  :D  I felt it with DD1 when I was 16 weeks and DD2 around 14ish weeks! I, too, totally can't wait until it becomes more regular and distinct.  Although, I do enjoy the flutters while they last since before I know it it will be kicks to the ribs or cervix!!!

Ohhhhhhh.... I don't know mecry.gif

I am looking... and hoping. It's my 4th, and I felt DS3 around 15 weeks, so I know it will happen soon. But the waiting game is making me crazy! Every once in awhile I think I feel something, but it's just not enough for me to say "Yup, that was baby!" I absolutely LOVE when I can feel them moving and rolling around in there, I am a very interactive pregnant mommy too, I will push them around and move body parts from here to there, it's all very fun! All my babies would sort of "play" with me, too, pushing back and moving toward my pushes. I can't wait to start doing that again!

So I think I've felt something two or three times now. Sort of like a ball rolling over. I felt DS at 16 weeks, so I was expecting to feel this one early too- but not this early (12 weeks)! DS was super active. I loved rubbing my belly with him and pushing his elbows and feet back in when they'd stick out- it just felt like I was holding him. orngbiggrin.gif

SugarPlum, you nailed it exactly: like a ball rolling over. I've felt this a few times when I feel like my uterus is tight or whatever. I think sometimes I'm having braxton hicks and those are the moments I can feel it. I also sometimes think I've been feeling little pokes, for like a few weeks. They're SO much like last time but it's nothing that's like, oh yeah, that was baby. Tomorrow marks 12 weeks for us, so I feel a little crazy, but I also have felt this before so I trust myself a bit. What a fun thread! orngbiggrin.gif

I didn't feel DS until after 20 weeks. My OB was feeling him at my appointment before I could (I guess I just didn't know what I should have been feeling!)
Sometimes I'm sure that I'm feeling this one already, but I always talk myself out of it. If I feel anything, it should be really low right?
All I know for sure is that I'm having braxton hicks already, and that makes me happy. It is just something that is reminding me that I'm pregnant even if I'm not feeling baby.

I have! But ive only been sure of it since last week at 12,6. And it's not fluttery, it's obvious baby movement! I love this part!
I was 20 weeks with dd, and I don't quite remember with my boys... greensad.gif

I hope you feel it soon, but it is so hard to say with a first. Don't stress over it, I was past 20 weeks with my first before I knew for sure it was baby.

Yeah, this is a fun thread! So, I wrote about this elsewhere, but I've been feeling this baby (#3) since around 11 weeks. It feels like a little fish flopping for a split second. I felt DS2 at 10 weeks, although I doubted it until the weeks rolled by and I kept feeling the same squirm, just stronger! My midwife never believes me but, I tell you-- I know what a baby feels like. Early pregnancy is the only time I feel this particular feeling... And no, it's not gas. Glad to know I'm in good company. We are certainly not crazy.

I thought I was crazy but I really believe I felt my little one moving last week, too (at 11 weeks).   This is my 3rd baby (5th pregnancy) and I am trying so hard to be more in tune with my uterus, so maybe I just know my body better by this time around?  It was so awesome and reassuring.  I am also experiencing braxton hicks regularly (daily) and it was very worrisome at first because of my history of mc (hard to tell the difference between BH and cramps when the uterus is still so small).

Going for my second prenatal today!  And we made our "official facebook pregnancy announcement" a few days ago so now the world knows.  :)

banana.gifYay!!! I am soooo doing the happy dance! I felt baby last night!!!!

It was soooo cool! I cannot tell you how happy I am, and the best part? DP was feeling it too! We were laying in bed looking at the iPad together, and he had his hand on my belly, suddenly, I felt it. I stopped for a minute and said "Oh!", Jason looked at me, and goes "Was that the baby? I felt something right here..." I was like YES! That's the baby! Little bean move a little bit more, and then went quiet.

What a fantastic experience! I am so excited for Jason, being his first, all of this is new stuff... It's all so much more fun!

Nothing here yet at 14 weeks, but I didn't feel DS until around 20 weeks. I know that my uterus is tipped, so my guess us that's why I don't feel as early. But, I had a crazy dream last night that I could feel the little bean rolling around with my hand on my belly -- kinda like later in the pregnancy when you can feel the elbows and ankles. It made me feel a little better after having that dream.

yes, my uterus is retroflexed and retroverted (it is really smooshed back there!) but at my last prenatal, my midwife said she could already feel it over my pubic bone, so maybe it has already started to flip up out of the pelvis?  My midwife is always encouraging me to have a healthier relationship with "her" (my uterus) and to send warm loving thoughts to her everyday, haha.  Hard for me to take seriously, but there is a lot to be said about that mind-body connection.  "She" (my uterus) and I have been through a heck of a lot together and I would like her to know I appreciate her! lol.  Really trying to focus on feeling sensations down there and I was able to feel distinct movement there (and not in my GI tract, haha) but I really had to concentrate on it.  Looking forward to the  swishes, rolls, elbows, and knees!

I've felt the odd...thing...rolling I guess is a good way to describe it, like something twisting around, but not consistently.  I'm 12 weeks tomorrow.  But I'm pretty sure my placenta is smack in the front of my uterus (based on what the Doppler was doing at the MW visit last week) so I doubt I'll feel actual kicks as early as I did with DD (16 weeks).

I like the early wiggles and kicks.  They're cute.  Later on, the 3 am party-in-the-uterus and the much worse "I don't like how you're lying so I'm going to kick your diaphragm really really hard and knock the wind out of you" movements are not so fun. DD actually managed to disconnect a muscle along my rib cage - it still feels weird when I press on it and is prone to spasms if I sit up wrong.  Ah, babies.  Ironically she turned out to be such a biddable, gentle creature (for the most part) but I could have sworn she was a budding shit-disturbing little Amazon when she was in the womb.

I've been feeling flutters since last week 11 weeks maybe even right before..tomorrow is 12 weeks. This is baby #3 and that fluttering feeling is distinct. I love the feeling....can't wait for it to happen more.

Well, pretty sure I've been feeling SOMETHING different (light, but pregnancy-related-- not gas) for the past few days-- I'll be 15 weeks in like 30 hours.  It's either all in my head or I will recognize it in hindsight as it gets stronger.

I have barely felt anything since I posted this! Figures! Just a few random flutters. Glad it is still early or I would be freaking out (more than I am already!)

I was convinced I felt something other than 'gas', more of a light fluttering at night, from just after 11 weeks. But since I finally heard my babys heartbeat at my first midwife appt last week, it's all been v still down there.......despite my encouraging pokes and rubs. I was worried the Doppler had really upset the little one and sent it hiding in the furthest recesses of my womb!

Finally, last night, as I turned 14 weeks, I felt a similar but stronger sensation in the same location.
I know my 'guts' are somewhat displaced from their usual position but my intuition tells me it's something more. I'm really looking forward to further acrobatics from this one.
