Giving up sleeping on stomach, but not for the reason you might think! « Back to Group Discussions

So I've given up sleeping on my stomach already! My poor boobs can't take it!! They're pretty tender, and the pressure/weight when laying on my tummy is too much! Modified side sleeping from her out for me! How about you guys?

I've always been a side sleeper, and occasionally on my back, so I haven't had to change anything yet. My boobs are really sore, though. My daughter keeps accidentally bumping and elbowing them. OUCH!

I am definitely still a stomach sleeper right now. When I lay on my side my boobs get pushed up towards my neck (unless I keep my arms at my side) and I get gaggy from it. I pretty much toss and turn all night and lay in a position until my arms or hands fall asleep and then I move.

LOL Tiffany. I do the same. My boobs dont choke me lol but I'm always rolling one way then another because my arms and hands fall asleep. I tend to lay on my side with one arm under my head but with my pillow on top of my arm...falls asleep pretty quickly...I like to sleep on my tummy but I have been so used to side sleeping the last several (baby making) years that I've just gotten to where side sleeping it is. I put a pillow between my legs and it's nice and comfy...till it's time to flip lol .

My boobs have been soooooo tender. I can still sleep on my stomach when I want to (our bed is memory foam and very comfy). But oh man, when DD accidentally bonks into my boobs, or tries to give me a snuggly hug, OW!

For the most part, I just naturally sleep on my side. I know I'll be thankful for this in a couple of months. I don't have any problem laying on my stomach when I'm reading a book on the Kindle or something like that, but it does make my boobs hurt sometimes.. 

My breast tenderness comes and goes, usually hurting most by the end of the day. Is that normal?

My boobs are tender, but I have to sleep on my tummy or my kids will mess with my boobs, and that hurts worse lol.
