Evaporation line??

I was put on anti depressants last week. Well this morning I took a test to make sure I wasn't pregnant b/c I don't want to be on anti depressants if I am possibly pregnant. I was half asleep and looked at the test and it was negative. I went back to bed. About 8 hours later I looked at the test again and there is a vertical line. It is bluish in color and is darker at the bottom that it is at the top. I used Clear Blue and the stick is still really wet. What does this mean? I plan on taking another one in the morning. I have used this test many times before and the so called "evap line" never appeared as a faint blue line before. Help?

Anything after the time window in the instructions is void. However, I know of several who had the line show up later and were indeed pregnant. Without being able to see the test, it also sounds like it might be defective if part of the line is darker than the other. I'd discount this test and take another, without falling asleep this time.
