I posted these goals in the style of I will, not I want to because I heard that is the best way to do it. I'd love to see other peoples goals and I may add to my list. I have no time frame in which I need to accomplish these, but I hope to by the end of the summer.

SIZE/WEIGHT

I will be a size 12/14
I will wear short sleeve and sleeveless shirts comfortably without worrying about my flabby triceps, because they will be tone and sleek.
I will wear a two piece tankini in the summer.

FITNESS
I will exercise at least three times a week
I will be able to do at least 10 man style push ups
I will participate in a 3 mile walk/run for charity

EATING
I will cut out white sugar
I will eat whole grains
I will cut most processed foods out of my diet

I will be a size 11/12 (8/10 would be better, but I'd be happy to make it to 11/12.).
I will not weigh myself every day.
I will stop eating sugar again.
I will walk every day that I feel up to it.
I will start using my weight bench on the days I feel well.
I will wear a bathing suit this summer.

Thanks. I hope I can do it, but if not I will at least know I've given it my best shot. Maybe I'll feel fine at a size 14. : Who knows. Nothing is set in stone, I just want to feel better above all.

You can do it too! Those weights can actually be fun. I used to have a home gym and I loved it. My husband wouldn't take it with us when we moved. He gave it to the people that lived downstairs from us. At least now I have a treadmill and a weight bench.

I too would also love to be an 8/10 but I want a goal I know I can make it to. Then once I hit that point I may make a new goal. I am going to add cutting out sugar too. Great idea

Oooohhh. cool!

I will wear a size 10
I will exercise, not to lose weight but because I love it and it's good for me.
I will set a good example for my children by choosing healthy foods
I will *try* to get enough sleep so that I am rested.

Thanks for this! It's always good to put things in perspective!!

How's everyone doing? I did OK today. I still probably ate too much, :LOL but I definately ate foods that are lower in sugars/fats and better for me. I snacked on carrots when I was feeling bored or stressed. Better than M & M's, huh?

WAAAYYYY better than M & M's!! LOL! I didn't work out, and today was a workout day, but I had the guy come to clean my carpets early this morning, and then had to get the kids out of the house so things could dry and then had an appt this afternoon...can I say I made up for it by my super, duper, ultra healthy salad I had for dinner?? And NO after dinner snacking?! LOL! Not to worry, tomorrow is all ready. My workout clothes are on the dresser, and my workout space is already cleared out, tape in the VCR, I'm ready to go!!

Day #2. I'm going to workout tonight after church, I think. Dh is totally on board about this diet thing. I konw he must think I'm a fat cow. Nevermind that I have birthed 5 children! 4 of which were birthed in 6 years. Anyway, I know I need to be healthier for me and no one else. Thanks for keeping me motivated ladies!
