Waldorf Doll Repair-Kathe Kruse Doll

I have a little Kathe Kruse doll (Baby Niki- but we call him Tiny Baby).  His nose rubbed off and the wool is poking through.  I cannot find anyone to repair him other than shipping him to Kathe Kruse themselves, overseas, with high shipping rates.  I have made two dolls myself but am not comfortable with this project.  Does anyone have any suggestions for doll repair shops- preferably on the East Coast as we are in Maine?  Thank you for your help.

Maybe you could try your local wool yarn shops - seems like some of the folks there may know a way to fix it. Good luck!
