Is anyone else using Connections Academy and slowly going insane?

We have returned to homeschooling 1 year and a half of public school fun and excitement lol.

I selected the Connections Academy Full Time option as I figured it would be easier to just have all of the curriculum selected and provided to me for my 7th grader while I work out the new world of homeschooling for pre-k.

OMG I am slowly going insane with the amount of work they require.

I notice some of the same thoughts mentioned on their message boards as well. So many mommas (especially those new to homeschooling) are feeling like throwing in the towel and running back to public school.

What the heck?

Is anyone else here having these issues?

We are in our first year of K12 (3rd and 6th grades) and some days feel like that.

I do have the option to let the kids assess through units if they are confident they know the material (in math, spelling, LA), and those seem to be the most busywork-intensive subjects. This has helped me get a grip on the days. My 3rd grader spends 4-5 hours a day, and the 6th grader is spending 6+ hours daily. The thing that sort of took me by surprise was just how much instruction I am providing my 3rd grader. 

By day's end, I'm wiped, but I think we are starting to get a handle on the system now, just about two weeks in.
