What are your symptoms so far?

Thread Starter

I have:

--dizziness

--hot flashes

--frequent urination

--ALWAYS hungry, hungry, hungry

--very tired

ETA: I also have headaches and lower back discomfort

I'm only 3w6d. I've never felt these things this early with my other 4 pregnancies, so it's interesting.

What are your symptoms and how far along are you?

I am 4 weeks and 3 days today. As of now, I am feeling a bit nauseus here and there, but nothing too bad. I feel the stretching and occasional cramping..although the cramping has let up some in the last few days. I am feeling a bit more tired..but that's pretty much it right now. Oh, and

insomnia..I'll wake up around 3am and have a hard time falling back asleep. For the most part though, i feel pretty good..although I doubt I'll be saying that in a week or so :/

I am just one day further along than you, kikaaaso smile.gif  This is my fourth pregnancy and first time I've ever experienced nausea (yesterday).  I was actually pretty excited to feel nauseous as it makes the pregnancy feel even more viable (not sure that's true but I'll take any helpful delusions that I can!).

I'm also slowing way down in the poop dept (tmi, I know), extra tired w/ insomnia (what a combo!?), a bit moody, my breasts are very sore, and my lower back is achy.  All my symptoms are more pronounced than I remember at this stage in the past.

I was very, very tired from days after conception - which I never believed was possible when I heard of other women having super early symptoms. My exhaustion was so distinct that it's what tipped me off to testing!

I've also had sore boobs (and in two weeks they've gotten HUGE - to the point that other people are noticing already!) and a bit of heartburn. No major morning sickness (although mine typically doesn't settle in until 7 weeks), but a few food aversions here and there.

Oh, and spotting. A lot of brown spotting. I wish that were truly 'normal' and not a sign of something possibly being wrong. :(

I forgot one. Headaches. Migrainey headaches - awesome. I guess it's from the hormones, although it could also be from the stress I've had with miscarriage worries.

I never get headaches! and I have one everyday now, I was thinking it could be due the insane amount of smoke in the air for the past few weeks...

-My boobs hurt (no growth just pain)

-Food: I think I really want to eat something then once I start to eat it I hate it.

-Sleepy! I can sleep for hours! with my stomach flu this weekend I've had the most sleep since 2005!

Ok..i have another to add..I am breastfeeding my 19 month old, and last night was the first time my nipples really hurt. This morning, when I woke up that taste( it's just a yucky, blah taste)in my mouth... which is the start of the nausea stuff. It still comes and goes, but it is getting stronger.

Mild nausea here and there. Then, I also don't feel like eating a whole lot. Very, very tired. My breasts aren't really sore, they just feel very full, like they've gotten larger/heavier. And I am soooo congested. That's always my first clue. Sigh. Come on second trimester!

I've had nausea since very early. It is kindof on and off throughout the day. It doesn't usually get too extreme unless I'm not able to eat anything for some reason. But, my appetite is really poor. Nothing really looks good, and I usually don't finish my meals. This is an improvement from the last pregnancy, where I couldn't stop eating! LOL! I gained several (10?) pounds early on, and the midwife actually got on me for that! (I switched midwives). I thought last time I was always hungry because I was pregnant and breastfeeding, but the same is true this time and I'm just not as hungry.

I haven't had any change in the boobs yet, but I might not have anything other than nipple pain while bfing.

Lots of extreme tiredness. I've been able to take naps the last two weekends, so that has been nice! But, work has been busy!

I've had some headaches too -- but I think it's because I'm not always going to sleep when my body tells me I should!

I am 6 weeks and 3 days as of today.  So far for me, I've had real fatigue even though I've been going to bed early, and mild nausea on and off (about the same as with DS) that is worse if I'm hungry or tired.  I haven't found nursing too uncomfortable yet, but since DS is 25 months he really only nurses at bedtime, nap time and a bit of comfort nursing during the night.  My breasts are a bit larger/fuller feeling.  No food aversions, except that coffee tastes awful as of yesterday (which makes me sad, because I love my cup of coffee in the morning and even bought decaf so I could still enjoy the taste - not so much I guess!).  I've been having vivid dreams, which I also had with DS.  I am very thirsty and have to pee a lot as well.  And seriously ladies, I feel like I'm gaining already! greensad.gif  If anything, I'm probably consuming fewer calories since I am not feeling snack-y after supper, am trying to eat healthier than usual, and am not having any beer or wine, yet my pants are all tight!!  Could it be fluid retention??

ETA: I also started having symtoms quite early this time.  I know they say MS and fatigue starts at 6 weeks, but I've been feeling it since before my BFP and noticed my breast changes before that too.

Well, I am waiting to see if this pregnancy is ending, but I'm going to be pretty mad if so, because all my symptoms are increasing from swollen tender breasts, to mood swings, to nausea, to eating issues, my symptoms are getting stronger.  It makes this wait for a high res ultrasound to look for fetal poles really stressful, honestly.

eta: I'm also really tired, having lots of vivid dreams, and once I wake up at 4am, I can't go back to sleep.

Oh my goodness, I am in the same boat! I am snacking more, but it doesn't seem like I should be gaining so early.

I'm 5w4d, and these are my symptoms:

  • Sooo tired. I took a 2-hour nap on Friday evening until just before 8 pm, and then I turned around and went back to bed at 10:30 and slept til 6:00 am!
  • But when I wake up in the morning, I'm UP. If it's 5 am or later, no going back to sleep for me.
  • Hungry all the time. Like, so hungry that my stomach is growling every 2-3 hours. I am starting more regular exercise, so I'm guessing the increased appetite is partially due to that.
  • Sore boobs. If I don't have a bra or camisole on, OW. They feel heavy.
  • No nausea yet, but an excess saliva thing that has usually been the precursor to nausea in the past.
  • Bloated, especially in the evenings.
  • Oh, did I mention I'm tired? All. The. Time.

Ugh, okay, I need to add serious mood swings and inability to concentrate! I have had 3 instances, one today, where I got as mad as I ever have in my life! One was for getting a parking ticket for being 3 minutes later than paid on the meter. One was for DH not supporting me in that, and one was for some lack of supervision of the kids on DH's part today! I am amazed about the rage I felt for some relatively trivial stuff!

Also, I can. Not. Concentrate. On. Work!! I have a ton to do, a big deadline, but always an excuse not to get things done! Ugh!

Oh, I should add that I think I have pregnancy brain already.  I forgot my cell phone at home on Friday, which wasn't a big deal until I then locked my keys in my car.  Then, I forgot to give my sister her car keys back on Saturday when we traded vehicles.  Maybe it's the fatigue.

I've got pregnancy brain too, or maybe its just mama brain on overload.

Right now the worst thing is wanting to sleep ALL THE TIME. I even get a good night of sleep most nights, but still wake up tired.

Yes, pregnancy brain has begun for me too!

Oh, my boobs... ow. As things have progressed, its been more often only the nipple, so that's easier to deal with. The nausea has been pretty constant, but not terribly intense, unless I smell something... my kitchen is full of things, unfortunately.  I've had a few involuntary naps, so I've been working on an earlier bedtime... The exhaustion seems to come and go, and is strangely better when I force myself to take a walk.

But the dreams have been wonderful!

I'm SO bloated and my boobs are achy and already bigger. No fatigue, enhance sense of smell or ravenous hunger yet, but I'm sure they will hit in the next few weeks. I'm praying for no morning sickness again like my other pregnancy!
No nausea here, just lack of interest in food. Similar, but I don't feel like I'm going to puke.
Count me in the sleepy club, too.
And nursing is getting pretty uncomfortable. I nursed my daughter through my pregnancy with my son. I plan on nursing my son throughout this pregnancy, but only if it gets more bearable soon.
My rare headaches have become frequent. Fun.

I think I'd be really excited if I weren't so sleepy!
