Gone are the days of "Jennifer A." and "Jennifer M." in class, my middle DD had "Aiden with an I" and "Ayden with a Y" in her class last year. At that point the kid's name becomes the phrase instead of the name. "Ayden with a "Y" can you please right the answer on the white board"...

Thanks for a great laugh! scary that it's kinda true though.  When I'm looking at names, I often picture my child as a 25 year old going to a professional job interview.  But if these silly names are so common, maybe we won't think twice about grown adults having these names in 20 years.

Warning, there's a lot of curse language in the article for anyone who may not care for that.

I try to picture my kids names on little old ladies and men in the nursing home. I think names like Kylie sound cute on a little baby, but an 80 year old woman?!
