Normally I don't like Italian food or cheddar cheese.

Is your baby making you crave stuff you normally wouldn't eat? ;)

Yes; this baby very seriously wants meat.  And I'm morally opposed to eating meat. But are my morals stronger than my urge to please my unborn baby? It's a tough dilemma! And it smells so good!

That's hilarious! I find it so funny that the LOs can tell us *exactly* what they want!  I haven't had strong specific cravings, just HUNGRY!!!!

Keep us updated on whether you indulge your LO's desire for meat!  smile.gif

haha!  Baby vs mama.  That's a toughie for sure.

Speaking of Italian food, there's this cafe down the street from me that the baby wants me to go to.  It made me eat a panini this morning.  Normally I avoid paninis like the plague.

Oh for sure! This baby wants MEAT MEAT and more MEAT! And I've never been a big red meat eater! But hello I want steak, burgers, meatloaf, meatballs... If it's meat I want it lol

I also love sweet things and sour things... The other day my hubby caught me eating sour patch kids dipped in Tabasco! HA! I thought he was gonna puke when he saw me! LOL

My little brother asked why I was eating s much meat, and I told him the baby wants it! Ad he goes... "that baby isn't a boy or girl... It's a T-REX!" BAHAHAHAHA LOL

*sigh*

Chocolate milk. I've gone through 3 gallons of milk since Sunday :-x And I HATE milk.

Spicy food! I am not big on hot and spicy stuff...but right now I'm craving sriracha and jalapeño and so on. Plus all the stuff I've listed in the cravings thread. But the spicy cravings are new in the last week or so.

Mmmmm...now I really want some jalapeño chips or something.

CHEEEESE. OMG. I can't make cheesy stuff because my oldest son has wheat and milk allergies....I'm wanting some CHEESY lasagna....or other cheesy casserole goodness.....Nom nom nom. I'm going to have to get him some alternative stuff this shopping trip and make my stuff anyway. Because I.WANT.CHEESY.FOOD. LOL

Also still my gatorade though that has died down some. Salsa and chips...mmmm (home made only of coarse which I have NONE of)

It's less about what the baby wants and more about what the baby wont let me have!!! Nothing sounds good. Everything makes my stomach churn thinking about it. My poor husband (who does most of the cooking) is completely exasperated with me lol.

I had beef tortellini yesterday because of the baby.

I found myself staring at the Chocolate milk the other day in the fridge at the store.  Like, staring and fixated.  hahahah.

Firespiritmelody, I am in the same boat.  I got up this morning and told DP,  "There is nothing for me to eat in this house."  All I've been able to stomach is apples, applesauce, and brown rice noodles with red sauce.  Although beef tortellini sounds amazing, at this point I am seriously afraid to eat anything because almost everything but the apples makes me feel like I have the flu after I have eaten it.  I'm actually kind of worried and going to bring this up and my midwife appt next week.  All I have eaten today is two spoonfuls of peanut butter.  :(  Can't wait to babysit this afternoon, get paid, and go to the market for more apples.

I was craving pizza a LOT a couple weeks ago. Today I desperately want some milk! Chocolate milk would be even better! Ice cream, too. I ate tons of ice cream and drank too much milk when I was pregnant with DD and I was SO constipated, so I'm gonna try to limit myself more this time around. Good thing it's raining or I'd head to the store for milk right now! Tomorrow I'm sure I'll pick some up.

Nuts, eggs (which I usually HATE) and cheese, too. Protein!

I've tried ice cream twice now and puked both times. Guess that's out! I can also do without the constipation. =( I'm finally starting to get to a point where I can look through my paleo cookbooks and not feel sick at the thought of some of the recipes. In fact, they are starting to sound delicious to me again! I think I might be past the worst of it. I need to get back on track and get rid of or halt this bloat.

Salty foods are my craving right now.  And soup, I love soup and love that its getting cold out again so I can eat soup.

The other day I suddenly had a taste for hot queso con salsa. So I bought some and plan to eat it this weekend camping. I have been craving Portillo's house dressing too. I got it, with the salad, twice but both times I felt so sick after eating it.  So I don't plan on eating it again.

I'm a vegetarian and have been craving chicken. I did eat some chicken with my last pregnancy, so we'll see how far I get this time around.

+1 to OJ. Yummy! There are these amazing organic single serve OJs at Safeway that come in little glass bottles, but they're pricey so I'm trying to stick to midi up my own from frozen concentrate. But I think the best OJ I've ever had is the Naked brand you can get at Starbucks. OMG it's incredible!

Personally, I can't wait until Clementines are in season! I can eat three of those a day even when I'm not pregnant. lol

I've also been eating a lot of spinach salads with strawberries, pecans, and goat cheese topped with balsamic vinegarrtte dressing. Soooooooo good.

My cravings seem to be changing a lot from week to week. It makes it hard to plan meals and shop for groceries.

Since the beginning of week 8, my diet has consisted of chicken noodle soup, saltine crackers, apples, grapes, watermelon, ginger ale, and water. Oh how I wish I could handle something more substantial... My stomach won't tolerate it, though. Luckily, I called my doctor today and he prescribed Zofran. I'm hoping to find some relief.
