Everybody handles pregnancy so differently! Even the same body in different pregnancies! I know women who have stronger ab muscles tend to show later as well, especially when tall. Just for fun, here is my 18 week photo from my first pregnancy:

I have a lower rounder, bigger, belly this time compared with last. I am also gaining a ton of weight in my butt and thighs, which didn't happen until much later with my first...although I think I've gained the same amount each time at this point. After 18w my belly seemed to double in size every week for a month, so I caught up really quick, and by 39 weeks I was busting at the seams!
I didn't deliver until almost 41 weeks and gained another 5 pounds in that two weeks, and I think half of that was the baby! It's really hard to predict how our bodies are going to grow!
