I took this today at 22 weeks and one day. The little guy is definitely getting bigger! Not sure why I'm always a day late with the bell pics!

Look at all those babies grow!

Finally getting another pic up.  I'm getting to the point where I do not love my body (Up 20 pounds already).  Really just feeling big and my skin is already feeling tight.  Oh well, it's worth it to grow this precious life.  So this is 20 weeks, 5 days with baby #3.

If it helps to make you feel any better/give you perspective/boost your confidence, etc etc, I look at you and consider you, even with your baby belly, to still be thin (but with a baby belly). This is how I see you when I compare to myself. You look great. Tell yourself that. It's always hard to not appreciate how we look in the moment, ya know?

Thanks for the complement, FarmerMomma smile.gif  I can't imagine having my little girl away from me overnight.  ((hugs))

Here I am on Saturday, 20w1d:

My belly button hasn't quite popped out yet, but any day now I think!

Here I am at 23 weeks. It's funny to look through my past pictures and see how my belly has changed. I thought it was big a few weeks ago...and now I have a lot of trouble moving around! My husband puts on my socks for me!

HOW SWEET!

Thanks Loogie Jane, I know my body is just doing what it needs to, I just have a hard time with the process.  I do find the way we perceive our bodies is often quite different from reality/the way others see them.  I have struggled with body issues a lot in the past (thank you ex-boyfriend) and have mostly made peace with it but pregnancy is still a bit tough for me.  The whole structure of my body changes SO much even though it has a wonderful purpose.  (sorry, didn't mean to be a downer for the thread, just keeping it real.)

I guess I'm the exact opposite, but with body image issues of my own. I've always been very thin, late bloomer, etc. and put up with lots of " real women have curves," " you need to go eat something," and similar comments about my body. (I especially liked having people tell me I didn't have "childbearing hips" and would never birth a baby vaginally. Naturally birthed my son, so 7lbs 12oz in yo face, naysayers! wink1.gif ) I actually really enjoy the curves pregnancy gives me and feel more feminine and beautiful the bigger my belly gets.

I hear ya on the new curves! Just bought a 34 c bra. They make those with way more support than any of my 32a non prego bras.

I agree. Now that I'm past the initial bloating stage, I love seeing my body become rounder (well, for now at least - we'll see if that changes in a couple months!). I was also a scrawny kid and late to develop a womanly figure, and remember comments like my mom's friend telling her I needed to "eat a lard and sugar sandwich". I didn't really get boobs and curves until I graduated from college, probably because I stopped running. Fortunately DH has enjoyed my maturing body as well and likes seeing it keep changing. It's easier to be happy about my pregnant body with that positive reinforcement.

Oh body issues, what woman (and even men nowadays) can help but have a few in our messed up society? I have to say though I am one who loves being pregnant. I definitely feel all "I am woman, hear me roar!" all the time once I start showing and totally love tight maternity shirts that show off my boobs and belly smile.gif
