Other mother.. Your belly is good for 18 weeks even with extra bloating.. Mine still doesn't get that big n I'm 24!! Do not fret looking at the other threads u have the belly shape which will suddenly bloom!!

Jess-agreed, got major belly envy

Kimble-I saw hers early on (when I was lurking a month or so ago and wondered that.. I think mines slitely more rounded but smaller then hers do I'm still holding out hope for a sudden basketball belly, but it has made me realised maybe I'm taller then I imagine sat in my chair all day!! How's your belly coming along?

Loving all the gorgeous bellies! And gorgeous ladies:-)

I especially love your hairstyle OtherMother. I have to say I am tempted to show your picture at the salon and ask for a recreation:-)

I will be 22 weeks tommorrow and haven't taken a shot for a few weeks, so I'll have to try to remember this time.

Thanks guys. I went to Old Navy and got some new clothes, which really did wonders for how I felt about myself and how others react to me. I was wearing darker, drapey clothes. Now instead of catching people trying to look at me without me knowing, I feel better about myself and people are asking when I'm due! It's way more fun and I feel like my normal self! It's silly how clothes can do that.

Also I love OtherMother's hair, too!

Thanks everyone! My hair is a constant work-in-progress; last November it was a crew cut, before that it was pixie for almost two years. I haven't cut it more than once or twice since last November, and it's finally got to a point where it looks cute. Yay!

I have another belly pic, but I have to figure out how to grab it from my Instagram ...

it is indeed lovely hair :) .. i think u can go on your instagram online and then right click and save image or something.. if not it also saves your instagram photos in your images on your phone which u can upload that way i think?

Jessmn - I am really looking forward to new clothes too. This will probably be our last pregnancy so I am glad to be able to feel like I can invest in long term wardrobe pieces after baby is here. I feel like I look really gross today! Blech! I have been cleaning out muddy back porch and gave the dogs a bath before the temp drops about 45 degrees in the next 2 days. Later I am attempting to fry a chicken and hopefully puree some beans and prep some meatballs for next week so I feel it would be a waste of time to try and get any cuter today, haha.

Pardon the full-on SAHM uniform...25 weeks!

Twenty weeks. I'll try to get a full profile pic soon.

I'm 21 weeks (today), and it's even bigger. It's almost kind of scary. It's like, how am I going to find this extra room? I can feel things streeeetching in there... this is numero two but it's been four and a half years!

Me yesterday at 22 weeks exactly

25 weeks! That just sounds like a good number! My tummy actually sits on my lap when I sit....

I'm doomed as far as stretch marks go, although I'm surprised that when I get them, they seem to fade almost instantly. In certain lights I can see some of them, but they aren't pink, they're like my skin color. What are your suggestions for relieving them? I use a cream at night and Bio-Oil in the mornings. If I miss applying it, suddenly I get very itchy with all that stretching!

We must be lucky then Jess. I get the same kind and they fade to dang-near invisible after birth. I think they are called silver stretchmarks. I used maderma scar removing cream after the baby is born. I just use cocoa butter when I remember during pregnancy.

ooooo this would be awesome, if I have to get them, then these sounds like the kind to get :) Good call on the scar removing cream after babies are here, I hadn't thought of them as really "scars".

Another option is to wear those stretch marks with pride. Scars are cool right? Our physical body isn't the only thing that stretches with pregnancy. We earned 'em. Let's rock 'em.

Those are the type I get when I do too.. Hundreds and hundreds of tiny ones tho which are 1-2mm thick and about 4-6mm longtbeg are strange things .. Look a bit like overstretched elastic velvet! But silver almost immediately.. I seem to be safe so far but wondering if my boobs mits have a few.. I just use any moisturising cream, bump cream or cocoa butter when I start to get dry/itchy.. I've often wondered about bio oil for other scars tho.. Ok jess your belly is amazing! And everyone else all lovely smile.gif

Yeah, I get the ones that fade to silver too, though mine don't fade until after pregnancy. I haven't gotten any new ones that I've noticed yet, I'm sure I will though!

Love all the new belly pictures smile.gif

Oh stretch marks.. Lol. I've been lucky not to get them on my belly (so far) I have like one on each hip from my last pregnancy, but they are barely noticeable. But my boobs are a different story. I have them all over my boobs from my first pregnancy. They looked so bad at first. But they have since faded. Just looks like scars now. But since the skin is so thin, you can see all my vanes through them now. So they are still pretty noticeable. Oh well!! They needed to basically triple in size to do what was needed! I've accepted it smile.gif
