not til June 22! I'm a ddc crasher, heh. I started following the may ddc when we were ttc, and originally we thought I might have a May 30th due date, but I guess our dates were all off, confirmed by what ended up being an early u/s. So I'm just 19 weeks.

But I look like I am much further along, does that qualify me to be here? wink1.gif. I could pass as a May due date, I think. Here I am over a week ago:

I have my anatomy scan on wednesday. But I also had an US at 12 weeks, which confirmed just one, non-ginormous baby is in there! LOL. This is my second pregnancy, and I got pretty torpedo-bellied with my dd too, though not as early as this time. I'm just short (5'2") and I have a short torso, so there is nowhere for baby to grow but OUT. Also, I have been told that my uterus tips outward, which probably has a lot to do with the look of my belly.

So far, it hasn't slowed me down though! I'm still running, albeit slowly. I completed a half marathon on the 13th and have a 10k coming up at the end of Feb. I'm sure i look ridiculous out there, but who cares eh?

Timesway, I have been following this thread and see that your belly is starting to show. I am sure you're gonna pop soon. Until then, enjoy the comfort of carrying closer to your spine! These big bellies are heavy!

I have a tipped uterus too, although I think my big belly is more from having 4 pregnancies in 4 years of marriage. I am due 2 days after our fourth wedding anniversary.

Wow Bailey, you two have had a very busy and productive marriage! Congrats :)

Wow!  19 pages later, and I'm giddy over all your bellies.  So beautiful. :)

26 weeks tomorrow:

My bellybutton hasn't "popped" yet, but I have gone up a cup size.  This pregnancy has looked quite different than my last!  I'm carrying considerably higher, too.

Here are the babies at 26 weeks. I feel like my belly is getting bigger and hanging lower....and I'm starting to feel less empowered and awesome and more self conscious, but maybe that's because I'm getting more uncomfortable as well.

Blurry/dark 26 weeks.  Everyone looks so precious!

Kitteh - rock on for running like you do, that is awesome!

I currently weigh what I did at 38 wks with DD, boo. But I don't feel that much bigger, I was just much younger then and started off at a lower weight. I think I'm up about 17 at this point and only gained 20 with DD, so this will just be different. I am letting go of the number worry, there is not much I can do about that! I think the extra weight may be a good thing as I was getting too thin from nursing when DD was about 7 months, my body could hardly keep up and I was getting too skinny. A mama needs some good stores to take care of that baby!

Each of the bra measurements gave me very different sizes, ugh! I think I need to just go try on a bunch, even tho I hate the thought of it.

Loving these gorgeous mamas and bellies!

lisathena, there is no way you're up 20 lbs. I don't believe you!!

ok, I believe you... but SERIOUSLY? where are you hiding it? I don't see anything about you that looks puffy! You look amazing!

(also what does "Wait for SFG"mean?)

I'm up 21 lbs in close to 25 weeks (it'll probably be 22 lbs at 25 weeks if my lb a week trend continues).  For a while I couldn't tell where I was putting it aside from boobs and extra blood/fluids for baby but I think my hips and upper thighs are a bit bigger now.  I do not like it one bit.  I think I've popped so at least it looks more like baby instead of too many cheeseburgers but I really feel fat and unattractive.  My maternity pants don't help either as they give me love handles thanks to the demi band.

but yup up more than i normally am by now...must be baby #5 such a weird pregnancy!

And SFG stands for Strong First Girya (my husband wants to get certified, but cant...its the weekend b4 we are due w/ baby!) so he put w8 4 sfg on the wall...i didnt see it until afterwards LOL

This was taken last weekend when we took a mini holiday to a hotel with a pool.  It has been sooo cold here (Canada) it felt good to stay in and be warm and go swimming.  Even went down the water slide a few times with my 5 year old. I am 26 weeks and had gained 12 pounds total at my last appointment with the midwife.

im up 21lbs (maybe 22 now) at 26 weeks... also all on my hips thighs (not good when your stuck in a wheelchair) i think a lot of the weight is fluid.. but still.. :S yuk!

I think I recall reading somewhere that fat stores on the hips and bum are supposed to be optimal for supporting and maintaining a plentiful milk supply. So maybe it's all for a really good reason!
