I'm laughing because we had our professional maternity pictures done last Friday.  They were outside because normally it's well into spring here by the end of March.

I wore a bikini top and a long skirt and flip flops.  It was 46 degrees.  DH asked to photographer if she could airbrush out my goose bumps.  lol.gif

Pictures turned out great though!

You guys all look awesome.  thumb.gif

I hear you ladies about the pant issue. I am in sweatpants every single day. It's too cold for skirts here in Alberta still, but my maternity jeans are just too tight! I bought them at like 14 weeks, guess I didn't think my butt and thighs would get any bigger! So I'm stuck in sweats until the birth probably, unless we get some nicer weather here by the end of May. But with my luck it will snow more in May than it does in April. It wouldn't be the first year that happened! Lol.. Good 'ol Canadian weather..

I've started exclusively wearing knee-length Old Navy maternity skirts. I don't care if it's cold or windy or rainy or what (at least it's not snowing) because my only other option is some yoga pants and I can't wear that to work! If it's sunny, I wear sandals, if it's rainy, I wear slip ons. That's my daily uniform! haha!

Kate, that is so funny!

Jess, I love the ON skirts, I want to wear mine all the time!

Mama4, same here with the mat jeans, I've outgrown a couple pairs already.

Jess, you're hilarious! I can't imagine having a twin belly like yours! It's hard enough to do things with my belly. Congrats on 36 weeks! Those babes are growing big!!

Berrymama, your pictures are beautiful! That reminds me that I should get some really nice pictures like that. It just snowed like 8-10 inches where I live, so I hope It melts soon! I love your dress too!

Guess I forgot to take a picture at 32 weeks like I meant to, here is one at 33 weeks in a dress finally! I wore it with leggings, but seriously, many of my shirts are too short now so I'm going to be wearing more dresses for sure.

Oh my goodness, there is so much belly there. Such a beautiful thing. luxlove.gif

So you're probably going to be next, right? Are you going to wait until you go naturally or are you planning on being induced at xx weeks?

haha thanks! yeah I tend to run it into everything, I wouldn't be surprised if the babies are born with a few dings. ;) thanks!! I am impressed I've made it so far, it's definitely a relief.

haha yeah it's giant! I guess I will probably be next! Baby A (lowest baby) is frank breech and is likely not going to move given how squished they are in there, so my doc scheduled a c section for April 24th which is 38 weeks and some days. We're trying to get him to flip but we'll see, so far lots and lots of wiggling and kicking my insides but no flipping progress :(

You guys look great! Seeing your posts about being 36 weeks, I thought "Wow! They are close!" Then realized I don't have much longer at 35 weeks and 3 days! Haha! I feel like these babies are sneaking up on us! It's going by so fast!

36.5 weeks

Anybody got a super veiny belly?

Oh yes, veins everywhere, but my veins are normally very visible, but they are even moreso on my stretched parts (belly, breasts, thighs, etc.) right now. The Red Cross people when I give blood are always impressed smile.gif
post #660 of 725
I'm only 30 weeks (ddc crasher from June) but my belly is already super veiny and will undoubtedly just get worse as I get bigger and more stretched out. Sometimes my 3 yr old dd likes to trace the veins with a marker! It's definitely freakish (the belly, not the 3 yr old)
