Exercise accountability re-loaded - Page 4

I didn't exercise nearly as much as I did with the girls (especially DD2, where I ran 10 miles a week until she was born).  I am just about ready to start doing some really low impact stuff, maybe some light arm weights and walking and yoga or something.  I am mostly done bleeding (although, every few days I have heavy bleeding with clots????), so hopefully I will be ready to start doing a little more in the next few weeks (DS will be 2 weeks tomorrow.)

i've dropped 25 lbs (20 at birth and 5 in the last week) and expect to start walking again soon.  that last 2 months i totally lost all exercise.  i have another 25lbs extra on- mostly my thighs and butt and hips, so it's burning up into breastmilk pretty quickly.  i'm excited about the weather warming up just in time for me to get moving.  and after 6 weeks, i intend to start an intensive core exercise routine and then start dancing again.

meanwhile, i'm wearing yoga pants, sweaters, and eating super healthy!!!

i have aggravated my bleeding in the past by doing anything more intensive, so walking after another few days is about all i'm interested in moving towards.  but i think i'll be interested in that soon- things are healing amazingly fast- as it sounds like other mamas are too!

Josie- You definitely deserve a break!

I ended up gaining 37 pounds this time and am down 24 lbs today at 2 weeks PP.  I wasn't able to exercise at all this pregnancy so I'm excited to be able to be physically active again.  I may re-join the gym soon. I am probably going to wait to start any real exercise until about 4-6 weeks depending on my bleeding but at least I have one pair of jeans I can fit into for now.
