• Anything else you'd like to share:  My first baby was a c-seciton, my next two were VBACs at a nice birthcenter in Oregon, then I lost 2 in Idaho, and now we have high hopes tha this one will be born healthy and safe in Texas.

Hi! My name is Rachel and we are expecting baby#5 My due date is March 21 unless they change it. I have to have a c-section because they said that since I have already had three it would be safer. We are having a girl, which will be our fourth girl. My poor hubby and son :) Also we homeschool too!

How long it took to you to get your BFP: I took a pregnancy test 7 weeks after my last period but it turned out I was only 4 weeks along

What number child is this for you: second child

Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): I live with my husband and our three year old son

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): its another boy!!!

Birth Plans/Preferences: we are doing a home birth this

Anything else you'd like to share: Suffering from a severe case of PUPPP and would love advice on how to cope, nothing is working

Also still nursing my three year old and it hurts! And advice on how to cope with that would also be,appreciated

Britannia8, Welcome. :) You may want to start a separate thread on your PUPPP and the nursing.  I know we have LOTS of mamas nursing through pregnancy! :)

I have no personal experience with PUPPP, but I nursed my 2 1/2 year old throughout my entire second pregnancy.  And like you said, it HURT!!!! The only way I was able to cope and continue nursing was to night wean and drastically cut nursing down to two minutes/side for each nursing session. I also limited the number of nursing sessions/day with A LOT of distraction. During those two minutes, It felt like knives were coming out of my nipples, so I practiced my relaxation and deep breathing for labor at that time.  After the baby was born, DD1 started nursing like a newborn again, which helped with my oversupply issues.  She did that for about a week or two and I slowly started with the distraction again and it went back to a more reasonable few times/day.
