Benjamin Ernest is here! Updated with birth story - Page 2
Benji is SO darling! Congrats Mama!
Thanks for all the congratz. As for my midwife needing to be more organized, and have back up - I'd have to agree :) Or perhaps she needs to retire, she has been doing it for 35 years. I think what's happened is she has intended to take on less clients and scaled things back and then she took on more than she could really handle.
But I personally am not angry about her not showing up. If she'd have been there in time, she would have been waiting around in the other room because I do not do well being coached or watched continuously.
Nukuspot, did you post your story already? We sure are having a lot of precipitous labors in our DDC!
Ha! I'm amazed at being perceived as a "calm birther" but I suppose I really was. There was a bit of turmoil going on inside my mind and it took quite a bit of mental will power. I had to ask my husband about it (after the birth) several times though because I was sure I seemed out of control but he concurs and said he just let me do my thing because I had everything under control and knew what I was doing
