A photo shoot sounds so nice! I'm sure you'll look lovely. I generally feel pretty cute until about 36 weeks when I just am too uncomfortable to think any positive thoughts whatsoever.

I'm able to still cross my legs to the right, but not to the left  lol  It's not easy though, and I don't do it nearly as often as I am used to.  I think I have an imbalance in my left side somewhere, as that is the leg that hurts, and makes my SPD hurt, when I stand up after sitting for a while.

Sleep is good, I wake up frequently to turn over or go pee, and I get kicked in the process but I'm still able to get back to sleep at least!

I'm not technically constipated, I'm actually going quite frequently, BUT the shape is what's killing me (tmi alert).  It's really round and hard and hurts like hell coming out!  Trying to drink more water but I'm finding that difficult!

I can no longer go from standing to sitting or vice versa without making all sorts of grunting noises - it's terribly attractive.

I'm now 27 weeks + 1 day and starting to think things like "this my last Friday of second trimester". It's crazy how fast things are going now.

I just got home from a weekend away at a resort in Indonesia where hubby was doing a bike race. I thought this was going to be kinda fun and somewhat relaxing but boy did my pregnant body have other plans! I was plagued with Braxton Hicks and ligament pains shooting across under my belly on day one. Probably a reaction to my long day of food prepping, packing and standing in line for the ferry to get to the island not to mention it being a zillion degrees. I fell into a bed that night that really could have just been a plank of wood and that's compared to the usual plank-bed I sleep in around Asia. I woke at 4am with a major allergy attack from a moldy air conditioning unit above my head and later was awake again with a splitting headache and back pain that just steadily got worse the entire day. In my pain and allergy haze I didn't pay much attention to my fair skin when I took a dip in the pool and ended up with the worst sunburn I've had in years... Spent night number 2 sleeping on couch cushions on the floor of a room with no air conditioning with hubby helping to get me up every time I had to pee. We got home and he said "well that was a fun weekend eh? Did you at least have fun?" I really had to think hard about that and for his benefit I said "sure." Can I just admit here that it was really not fun? Signing off with a bottle of aloe in hand and very gratefully getting into a soft bed with a clean air conditioner.

Yes, hips and pelvis hurt much more this time than any of the other pregnancies.  I am so sore when I get up in the morning from sleeping on my sides and then if I do any walking for long distances (more than 1/2 mile) I feel really sore.  I also have round ligament pains where I don't really remember having them in the past pregnancies.  

I have been drinking a cup of coffee every day to keep things moving.  

I am feeling less comfortable that with the girls, but I have to say I am still doing pretty darn good.  I know that there are lots of ladies that feel lots of discomfort all the time, while I feel great 80% of the day.

Just this week my hips have started KILLING me!  Ack!  I'm 24w+4, I don't remember this happening last time until the third trimester, but I guess I'm getting close.  I'm on bed rest and I think the laying on my side so often is making it worse.  :(  Poor me!  I also woke up yesterday with a big milk splotch on my shirt!  And I've finally got that pregnancy hunger.  Oh man, I want to eat everything, all the time, ha!

my hubby got a tempur pedic mattress topper for me and since then, i have no more hip pain. nights used to be just awful. i miss lying on my back so much still though and wake up sometimes having to flip myself on my side. 

the only thing that bothers me lately is the reflux. no matter what i eat or drink, any time of day it pops up. it's just so gross.

I'm considering having DH and I give each other one glorious present of a natural latex mattress topper for the holidays. I've slept on one at a friends house and OH MY GOD they are amazing.

So I didn't have this issue with my other pregnancies because the last tri was in the summer, but... putting on socks? This has gotten super annoying.

Agreed.  I eat far too much in a sitting, usually dinner, and then I'm on fire with reflux an hour later!!

I really didn't have any negatives with my first pregnancy.   My current scenario is apparently much different, so if everyone else is going, I will, too!

First of all, my boobs have exploded.  Seriously,  They have gone up THREE cup sizes from a B to a DD!  A DD!  I'm only 24 weeks here, I can't imagine how much bigger they could possibly get!

So my bras no longer fit and honestly I'm scared to wear anything less supportive than a sports bra at this point.  I feel like my boobs need their own zip code.  Additionally, I feel like haveing these gigantic boobs is just making me look chubby.

Also, I'm huge.  Yesterday, a random man asked me if I was 8 months pregnant.  When I said no, he looked at me again and asked if I was having twins.  Nice.  

My maternity jeans don't fit right, I think because my belly is so big it keeps pushing the waistband down.  I  feel like a farmer, forever hitching up my pants.

My toddler is just killing me some days.  I was hit or had things thrown at me at least 20 times today, and that's pretty much the norm.  I am starting to think it may be hellish once the baby is here.

I had a latex mattress topper and while it was nice, it was HOT.  I couldn't handle it most of the year, just for the coldest months.  Just thought I would give you a heads up, just in case you sleep hot (like I do).

I feel the same way. I bought a support belt the other day and I'm hoping it helps with the walking. I feel so lazy but anytime I try to do anything I get so sore down there!

I've been having these really strange bouts of pain localized to one area of my belly at a time. It feels like how I imagine a mild-to-moderate contraction to feel and when it's happening that one area gets extremely tight and bulges. It happens irregularly (three times in total over the past 4 days), but when it happens there isn't anything I seem to be able to do to make it stop or ease at all.

It sort of feels like she's crowding her entire body into one small area of my uterus and pushing really, really hard against the side. Otherwise, her movements or kicks are never even a little painful or uncomfortable.  Anyone have something like this?

Teles- Do you think it could be round ligament pains?  I get those daily now.  It may be a BH while she is pushing out too.... I have had that with the girls before... not this pregnancy.

Good to know about the latex toppers. I definitely sleep hot when I'm pregnant but other than that I don't really.

I've had BH several times now where my whole uterus gets tense and it doesn't hurt, while these definitely hurt. It feels sort of like a pinched nerve or a muscle cramp that I can't massage out. Plus it's only in one specific area at a time, mostly up toward my chest. Maybe it is round ligament pain...

Baby seems fine and happily kicking away before, during, and after it's happening, so I'm not necessarily worried, but I'd like to know what I might be able to do about it in case it happens while I'm at work

Yeah putting on socks is the worst. I'm out of breath by the time I get them on.  It's like wrestling.  Maybe I should have my kids or husband do it for me.

i have an all-natural latex mattress topper (about 4 inches thick) with a wool wicking cover (for all the baby dampness) over an organic mattress.  after baby number 2, husband and i slept apart for almost a year (end of pregnancy) since we had a full size mattress, he's 6"2' and i was HUGE.  but as a little toaster oven, i can vouch that this cover isn't bad at all.  it's all holy and so amazing.  

mariee- i feel you on the bra/boob thing- i'm up 4 sizes and wondering when and if it's going to stop, and also just feel pudgy!

i sometimes get bubbles of gas that feel like that.  sharp, painful, like the baby and the bowels are battling it out over a small part of my intestine that has way too many nerves.  usually a position shift, or going to the restroom can help rearrange it and it passes quickly.  but it can be really sharp and worrisome.

Sounds like round ligament pain to me... I am having it so much more this time...

well, I start the 3rd trimester tomorrow, but I guess i can still complain about this as a 2nd trimester thing.....

I am still so darn tired.  I don't want to do anything.  My 2 kids are running circles around me.  DH has been making almost all the meals in the house (he works from home, so he can....).  I don't remember the last time I cleaned the house (again DH picks up the slack).  I kind of keep the kids entertained during the day.  They have been playing on the little tablet computers so much lately.  I take a rest or nap with DD2 almost every day and go to sleep with the kids at 8ish a few nights a week.  

I had my iron checked a few weeks ago and while it was on the low side, it was within the normal range.

I don't remember being so tired with either of the girls....

My morning sickness seems to have reappeared now too.  Just in the AM, but enough that I don't want to eat.
