Welcome Bria, Charlie and Mackenzie!!!!! What a baby boom we have had!!!

I posted in my own thread but my sweet baby girl arrived early Friday morning (19th) I had a weird labor... Very long slow early labor that started about 130am on the 18th.. I was up all night and all day with off and on, but intense contractions.. Around 8on I was getting pretty discouraged because I knew I want very far along, but I was tired and the contractions were getting hard to cope through. I asked my husband to take me to the hospital.. He said we should have the midwife come check me out first.. She arrived at about 10on and tried to check me but my cervix was really posterior and I was uncomfortable and unable to let her finish.. Around midnight I felt like I was in transition and decided to such it out because it wouldn't be much longer..... Four hours later I was having the most intense back labor and just plain not coping. I complained a lot.. Said I couldn't do it.. A lot.. Finally and 415 I asked to be checked because.I wanted to know where I was at.. They said I was an 8 with a huge building bag. I said I was done and wanted to go to the hospitathey said ok and helped me get out of the tub i felt the urge to pee so i went to the toilet and my water broke. I screamed "I can't not push".. Lol so the midwives pulled me off the toilet and helped me walk toward the bed.. I made it to the corner of the bed (about four feet) and birth!ed her in one contraction standing at the corner of my bed! She was 7lbs 1oz 20.5in long.

Maggie Rose was born this morning about 12 hours after my first real contraction and after only 1.5 hours of active labor.  She weighs 8lbs 3 oz and is 20.75 inches long.  I'm so grateful my midwife stayed here overnight last night.  I woke up with a huge contraction at 7AM  that made me throw up and woke her up at that point and then called my doula who barely made it in time for me to push but who was just a life saver at that point.    We had no clue things were moving that quickly and told her and DS's support person to just take their time.

All in all it was a beautiful, peaceful, healing birth and we are all so, so in love with her!

Our little girl Avila Claire was born Wednesday morning at 2:34am- in the caul! I know there was another mamma here who had a caul baby. Wild! She was was 8lb 1oz 20 3/4 ". It was 7 hours from first contraction to birth with about 2.5 hours of active labor. I tried to sleep between 10pm- 12am but started timing contractions at midnight when I knew sleep was impossible.  I called the MW about 1am after I was sure things were really getting going. She still hadn't arrived when I things came on really strong. Just a few minutes between contractions and I felt like I was going to throw up. I started pushing about 20-30 minutes after she arrived. There was absolutely no break between transition and pushing. It was just one wild ride. I was so sure she was a boy even after she was born. I pulled her out of the water and just cuddled her and looked at her face. She looks so much like her brother in the face that I just figured she was a boy but when I looked between her legs I was so surprised and overjoyed.

I'll post a longer birth story soon. For now we are both doing great (sooo much better than after my first vag birth to my 10lb son.)

Oh, and her name is pronounced A-villa with the accent on the "a" like "avenue."

Congratulations Under! Looks like we were both in labor at the same time:) Maggie Rose is a beautiful name.

Our third girl, Piper Min, was born the morning of Saturday, October 13. I had two days of prelabor due to my membranes being swept and about 18 hours of active labor. Very long, but not very painful at all. I got to the hospital at 6cm & had my water broken. 30-60 minutes later, Piper entered the outside world. She weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 20.5 ins long. I was blessed to have the same midwife as my last birth (dh and I just love her). The hospital stay and recovery were smooth and easy. Everything about this birth was easy except for getting it started!

Congratulations to all of you!!!! I haven't been on since Piper was born, I know I missed a ton!
