Not sure who the moderator is, is it Porcelina?

A few of my posts are getting held for approval.  How do I get approval?  I also can not see my whole profile because I am not approved yet.

Also, is there any way we can get the Welcome to the Club thread pinned at the top of the forum?  That would make it a lot easier to find for new people (like me).

I joined these message boards 6 yrs ago so my memory of the early process is pretty fuzzy.  I seem to recall some limitations with the profile till a person posted a certain number of messages and/or was signed up for a certain number of days.  I'm sure some one else will have better info!  Just thought I'd chime in fwiw.

nstewart and I are group "leaders" but not moderators. I'm not sure why your posts would need approval, as we are an open DDC. I also don't know how to pin things, but I will try to find out and will let you know!

Hi jacquelinej, joy is right.  Once you have more posts on mothering (easy to do in a DDC!) your posts won't be held for moderation any longer.  It's the actual MDC moderators, not Porcelina or I, who are moderating.

Hrm, I see.  It's just a teeny tiny bit frustrating when I am trying to post replies yet it gets held (some from a few days ago still have not posted)...so if you are expecting a response from me, I just might be held for moderation and that's why I didn't respond.

Oh well, I am still happy to be here!

One thing you could do is reply to threads in other areas (if you have time and interest) to bump up your post count faster.  Talk Amongst Ourselves is a good place to find some interesting things to discuss!
