Everyone thinks they know how to mother better than you & they like to let you know.  It's tiresome (& frustrating) to hear how you could be a better mother if you only did x, y or z.  Hang in there and be true to what you want/need.  Mothering is tough...but what's amazing about the tough times, they are gone almost as quickly as they come.  Before you know it, you won't be bf'ing as often...and you will (likely) miss it!  Do what you need to do so that you don't have regrets.  ENJOY THIS BEAUTIFUL PROCESS & RELATIONSHIP CALLED MOTHERHOOD :):):)

My son would never take a pacifier. We used to call them mouth rockets because if you put one in his mouth he would shoot it across the room haha. I was really glad when he was older and all the kids his age had a paci in their mouth 24/7. He did nurse frequently but I just submitted to it. A paci is a substitute for BFing, not the other way around.
