Hi Mamas... Hate to be a bummer but I did want to update. We went for our 2nd ultrasound Friday before last (had seen heartbeat at 6 weeks but she wanted to be sure on dating so had me come again at 9 weeks).
We saw the baby but no more heartbeat.
According to doc, it happened quite recently bc of the size seemed 8-9 weeks.
I was too devastated to even come by and post. Really hit me hard upon the heels of our early loss this summer especially with having already seen the heartbeat and then seeing the babe this time and having it look like a baby/not a blob.
I told my doc I didn't think I could go through another induced labor at home so soon after the last one. Plus she thought maybe they could find out clues as to why this happened again aside from me being 41 by sending embryo to the lab so I had a D&C on Tuesday. Just now starting to feel human again with bleeding and clotting/cramping coming to an end. Hormones are still wacky.
Having said all of that, I am so so grateful for my two babies I have and am constantly counting my blessings for the family I have.
This just wasn't the right time.
