We finalized our adoption yesterday!

    We went into the courtroom with our dd's bio sisters and their family, and we all finalized together. Then we celebrated with a picnic at the park with them, we gained a daughter AND a beautiful relationship between our two families. 

Josephine was placed with us from the foster care system when she was 25 months old, in June 2011, and we finalized September 2012. 

It is such a relief, and now we can leave the vitamins on the counter again. lol

My head knows, rationally, that we are not going to finalize on a 15-month timeframe. But that doesn't stop me from praying for it, and I am SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU that you have finalized!!!
