I don't post much, mostly lurk tons. But, this fires me up & I just couldn't sit on it. I know this girl & am so saddened that she was so blatantly disrespected & dehumanized.

Anybody live nearby who is still nursing?

Calling the cops on a nursing mother? How ridiculous. I wonder if the cops actually came. I can just imagine the conversation: Hey guys, there's this murder suicide we need to attend to, but hold everything! First we need to arrest a quiet breastfeeding mother.

Applebee's did issue an apology, and the article said that authorities did not even write up the incident.  It was obviously wrong (and extreme) for this to happen, but it looks like they've already taken appropriate steps to remedy the situation.

From what I can see they did a little PR work but never actually apologized to the mother. It's a shame.
