Now a Doula in West KY!

Hello! My name is Heather and I have been involved in births for over two years now, I have recently attended a workshop with CAPPA for a Labor Doula and Childbirth Educator. I am looking to start accepting clients and start teaching classes. I actually am holding a class in Marshall County in October. I like to think I teach differently than WBH's teaching techniques of scaring the woman. I hold completely research based information and give all the information to Mom's to make their own decisions. I am a strong believer in not only informed consent, but also INFORMED refusal. (Also a big problem in local hospitals). I am not a medical professional, therefor I cannot preform any clinical procedures. I am here for labor/postpartum support and to help the mother be an advocate for herself. I would love to start networking and expanding my resource list!!
