Pharma-hired anti-vaccine shills having effect

Here is a tweet from Dr Tenpenny, it seem that the pharma/Gates Foundation, anti-vaccine disinformation campaign is taking effect.

I need a little help. The Anti-Vaccine pharma hires have been really going after vaccine information sites....

Here are some examples of the comments left on the web of trust link, the typical type of personal attack, character assasination: quack, conspiracy theorist, no credentials, out to make a buck off poor unfortunate people, peddling dangerous information that put lives at risk, but no real discussion of the vaccine issue:

Obtains money by peddling useless tests and supplements.
Spreads harmful misinformation about seriuos illness. Opposes life-saving vaccinations in children. "

Pseudo scientific anti-vaccination information that puts our world at risk. "

This woman peddles misinformation in a dangerously cultlike manner. Not only does she not allow any dissenting opinion, but she sics her followers on anyone who wants verifiable evidence. She is hateful, fraudulent, and dangerous. She relies on the lack of willingness of her followers to read a medical study and spins tales with a homeopathic amount of truth in them (so negligible as to be nonexistent). She is not a maverick or a free-thinker. She is out to make a buck and has no quandaries about doing so at the expense of children's lives. "

The advice on this website is deliberately harmful and misleading. Child safety is sacrificed by Dr. Tenpenny, who is happy to give dangerous and unfounded medical advice in return for taking the money of gullible people. This is one of the worst websites I have seen, and the content is entirely untrustworthy. Disgraceful. "

"Dr Tenpenny" promotes herself as a vaccine expert. To be an expert, should one not at least have some specific training on the subject one sells oneself as? what training has she has in immunology, infectious disease and what research has she published. She has been describes as " a washed up osteopath who has given up real practice to peruse the one vestige of quackery left in osteopathic education - manipulation."

This one is a joke, Dr Tenpenny has a whole website that hosts scientific research papers:

Quote:

Dr. Tenpenny makes numerous unfounded claims that have no basis in scientific fact. She refuses to offer any citations for these claims (likely because none is available) and instead refers people to buy her DVDs and such if they want to know her "evidence". It is deplorable to feed into parental fear and support conspiracy theorists while putting lives at risk, so that she can make a buck. Parents would be much better off talking with their own doctor. "

I didn't see anything that mentions Gates or anyone getting paid to post comments? Though, fwiw, folks on both sides of the street make lots of personally-aimed, weakly insulting comments about the other side, and they're pretty much just talking to themselves. Most folks truly researching vaccinations filter that kind of noise out, imo.

So you expect these paid pharma shills to admit that is what they are doing when they post these comments? Their MO is so obvious though.

The Gates Foundation is funding an Internet-based global monitoring and rapid alert system for finding, analysing, and counteracting communication campaigns containing misinformation regarding vaccines to support global immunization efforts. (From the link above)

Um... what in the world does this have to do with Bill Gates?  Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the anti-vaccine surveillance thing people are up in arms about fairly recent?  Most of those comments are over a year old.  Also, I'm not sure whether they were going to be responding to internet discussions directly or just gathering information on what people's actual concerns were so they could put together targeted websites and fact sheets, but I'm pretty sure they were intending to combat specific misinformation with facts and links to actual evidence, not with this which is basically ineffective name calling.

Why would big pharma be willing to pay for this sort of thing when it's not very effective and so many people say or post that sort of thing on their own?  I haven't said much about Tenpenny, and I do try to be far more specific in my criticism than most of what is there, but oh how I wish that someone would pay me fore some of the stuff I've written about Mercola.  'Tis the season of school fees and hockey fees and aquiring new snowsuits/boots and such, after all.

Look at some of the things people have writen about Offit and certain medical establishments and the FDA all without being paid for it.  Is it so hard to believe there are people who feel the same sort of drive to activism against Tennpenny and Mercola and those they feel are swindling the public and leading trends that are dangerous both to individual health and to the health of society as a whole?

Whaaaat??  Nice to know of all the things out there to spend money on this is what they choose.  Talk about living in a police state!  I'm not cool with the government regulating things that I do in my life that cause no harm to anyone else.

Bill Gates is not the government.

Gates is operating at a level far above the US government. The candidates for puppet president must come to him and his group to be blessed. Otherwise they will never be puppet president.

Gates is the spearhead of the global "vaccination" deadly fraud. Many African countries understand that "vaccination" is killing their kids but are politically powerless to stop it. How horrible. It may be happening here also.
