breastmilk jaundice getting worse in 6 week old?

is this possible? ds had a bilirubin count of 10 at 2 weeks old, and has been slightly yellow still.  but today, its looking more yellow.  hes normal and gaining a ton but i wonder if the level could increase past 2 weeks?  hes also pooping much less since 1 month old.  which is normal though....should his levels be checked again?

Yes levels can still rise after 2 weeks. I'd recommend laying your child in the sunlight as much as possible. Even through a window will work.

They said that my DD had breastmilk jaundice and the only way her levels went down were with putting her on a bottle while I pumped. For us nursing didn't go as good after that. Since then I've read that that isn't recommended anymore. Get a hold of a local LLL if you have one available.
