Are you the average American or the receptive American? (or Canadian, or whatever citizen you might be, don't want to leave anyone out) Do you care about your family's health?  Eating GMOs is detrimental to your family's health. Europeans already know this, and GMOs are banned over there because they know the truth. In America, we have to fight just to have GM crops labeled!  The European consumers saw the studies and decided they didn't want to eat the junk, while here in America the news is only reaching consumers through alternative sources like this.

Here's a thought--give your baby GMO soy formula mixed with bovine-growth cow's milk, fed from a BPA plastic bottle. Wait, you don't want growth hormones or BPA? How did you learn these were harmful? Well, investigate GMOs, understand they are toxic to humans and animals, and let's all force the market to change. The government won't do this for us; the change can only come from the consuming public who won't buy the crap.

(Monsanto makes the GMOs, by the way. Interesting connection, huh?)

I don't know how successful it will be, considering what Monsanto has done in the past. I'm not sure if the issue will be on any other state ballots.

IMO the people behind the "GMO Disster" are the EXACT same people behind the "Vaccination Disaster" neither one is a MISTAKE on their part. On our part it is another story; death and destruction.

The FDA does not test GMO foods but allows Monsanto, the CIA et al presumably to do the "testing". The FDA says it can see no difference between GMO and real food. Folks a rat with an IQ in the single digits can tell the difference. The FDA is IMO a rat, and it KNOWS the difference.

Yes for now. If you buy organic no GMO is allowed. USDA is working to weaken the organic label so we have to watch them

IMO this "vote" may be rigged as was the 2004 "election" of GWB. The people cast 4.5 million votes more for Kerry (shown by the exit polls) but the COUNTED votes showed the designated winner was the little guy. They cannot allow labeling because that is the end of GMO.

But we can hope and fight on.

Michael Taylor, former Monsanto Vice President and lobbyist, currently senior advisor to the FDA.....why is this such a problem? Because they claim GMOs are safe and don't need to be tested.

"Yes, believe it or not, the FDA allows the same companies that lied to us about the safety of DDT, Agent Orange, PCBs and bovine growth hormone to conduct their own dubious safety testing on GMOs, and then use those tests as 'proof' that GMOs are safe."

So, thanks to revolving door policies, past coverups, and plain old greed, I choose to protect my family and reject the FDA's advice. They do not deserve my trust!
