I'm doing well to get a daily dose of RRL tea. I'm not a tea fan, but am trying to battle insomnia with lower caffeine intake. (um, it's very late; I'm losing, I think.) So instead of other drinks, I'm having a tea bag of regular black tea and a big (homemade) bag of RRL, and I brew it all as sun tea each afternoon and refrigerate it overnight so it's cold in the morning for me.
esp, I'm glad you're feeing a bit more at ease. That makes sense that nourishing your body more this pregnancy would result in a bigger gain. ((hugs))
Harmony, I'm with you--longer baking times are needed!! I will gladly wait as long as it takes for babe to be ready on her own and full term. I'm not rushing her. Even with my first pregnancy, I refused to say "I can't wait" because I *could* wait. It wasn't about me, yk? Hey, about the knot at the injection site--are you fighting off a cold or something? Maybe it's a weird immune reaction if so. It couldn't be developing a sensitivity to other ingredients, could it? I was talking at book club tonight with a friend who had 2 preterm labor-plagued pregnancies, and she will likely be on the same shots in a while. (she's 12w now--YAY! she's had a chemical and an early m/c in the last year)
Re: cervix pain--OMG, yes. Baby girl is alternating between punching my cervix and trampolining on my bladder. I need to do more inversions and pelvic rocks, I'm sure. I am right there with you, esp, on the public YEOUCH reactions, lol.
I'm also noticing lots of varied positioning, but know it's plenty early. I may ask my mw to send me to the sonographer near the end for a "position check" since my biggest concern with all of that is cord wrapping. I know babes do gymnastics in utero regularly with no issues, but I'm a worrier.
I just found out today that DH leaves a day *earlier* than I thought in October--he goes to Vegas for a day before going directly to Albuquerque for 2 days. So other than wedding stuff (and even then, he's *in* the wedding party, so IDK how much I'll see him), I won't see him for almost 2 straight weeks. The only thing keeping me going along without totally freaking is that we get to use alllll those frequent flier miles for a (likely) trip to London next Summer. (Now if THAT doesn't pan out, I will go ballistic and demand a trip to Hawaii or something, lol!)
Off to try to sleep. My primary homeschool group has a big pizza party/park day tomorrow--so excited! :)
