Belly Pics?! - Page 8

I'm actually feeling really small this time around. But that's easily explained by the fact that with DD1 I almost hit 200 pounds by the end. @_@   I've been much better about healthy eating and staying active this time, so, last time I checked, I was only about a pound ahead of the recommended weight gain schedule. With DD1 I are horribly and didn't exercise at all.

I'll be 24 weeks on Sunday, so I'm going to try to get another picture then.

Loving all of the adorable bellies!!  :D  I need to take another (26w tomorrow)!  My belly is big and round and I am suddenly outgrowing my small maternity shirts.  ;)  I shouldn't be surprised but I DO need to buy some more shirts! LOL

I finally took a few pictures today. I am 26 weeks!

The second picture shows the size better. I'm a little nervous about being so big again. I wish I had pictures from my last pregnancy to compare to, but all I have are some from the 2nd pregnancy, and that baby was almost 10 lbs... more than 2 lbs bigger than my 1st and 3rd. I am hoping this baby won't be as big as ds was, but the pictures of size are pretty close.

I am nervous about the same thing!  My girls were both 7lb'ers, my son was 9lb 10oz.  His size wasn't really an issue at birth, but his giant head was.  I am trying to make peace with that possibility again (because the boys on both sides of our families just run big..no getting around it), but it has me nervous for the pregnancy, because with him I had SO much more trouble with pain during the 2nd and 3rd tri.

Me three...and 3 of my 5 have come posterior on top of their size and head circumference.  I am totally okay with an epidural if this little boy decides to do the same thing, honestly...# 5 was my first boy and 1 oz short of 10 lbs, but with 14.5" head I think it was...I can handle it if they come the right way but it is so excruciating with a posterior delivery I can't even tell you.

Man, DS had a whopping 15.5" head (girls were tiny 13.25"...DS seems like he's just barely grown into his head at almost 3! LOL) and even properly positioned he still held me up while my body prepared to eject that thing!  I can't imagine doing it otherwise.  Just the desperation of wanting to have him out (not necessarily the pain...I had zero urge to push after I was complete...until 6 hours later, and only because I broke my own water!) had me on the edge.  Yikes.

My ds was posterior as well. I have a feeling his head was tilted and that's what caused him to get "stuck". I pushed and pushed and couldn't get him out. However, I was also on an epidural because I couldn't handle the pitocin pain (long story... classic cascade of intervention) so I wasn't able to move around very well. I had this horrible pain in my ribs and couldn't get a handle on pushing. In the end I had a bad panic attack due to the epidural being so high and screamed for a c-section :(

My last baby was much smaller and the labor was fast and natural and wonderful. I want that labor again so badly and I am trying not worry about this baby being "big."

Eek! You guys are all way too cute!! Cagnew, that belly is amazing! That's the perfect belly shape for casting!

Not a belly pic, but the ultrasound tech surprised us today with 3D pictures! They look surprisingly baby-like for 23 weeks and 2 days (A is measuring 25 weeks and 2 days and B is measuring 24 weeks and 2 days)

Wow! Those are really good Jess! They must have a great machine. Some of the 3D pictures look a little "off" to me, but yours is really clear!

Aww Jess! I love those.

Wow! Those are great pics!

Thanks guys! They definitely look like babies to me. I was a little worried at first when the tech said he'd switch to 3D since I had heard they don't normally do 3D until 28 weeks. It's just crazy to see real little faces!
