De-lurking!

Hi! I'm Wendy. Husband and I live in NY state. We are homebirthers and are expecting our 8th in late March. I'm honestly not counting on much before April though. :)

I have been on and off MDC for many years, but have never been a super poster. I'll do my best.

I have 3 teens (2 boys and one and only daughter) and 4 little boys (7, 5, 3, and 1.5). I also have a step son that doesn't visit as often as we would like. :)

Welcome Wendy! It sounds like your home is bursting! My dad came from a family of 9 and he always says it was the best time of his life... Having all those siblings around meant never a dull moment, and he is still close to all of them, I think it's pretty cool. If I had started earlier, and had the ability I would love lots of kids. I am working on my 4th, so I guess that's not too bad!

Welcome Wendy! Have your babies all come after their "due" date? I am on baby #3, and my first 2 were both 13 days past due. hoping (but not holding my breath) that this one is different!

Hooray for a full house!

Thanks!

All but my first. We have no idea why, but labor started with him at 28 weeks. Long story short, I was able to keep him in until the day I turned 35 weeks. :) Everyone else was a week or two past. I have pretty good sized babies too. Well, the last 4 anyway. 10#6oz, 9#4oz, 10#4os, and  9#2oz.

My mom's also one of nine, and there is something about a large family that is so much fun.  I'm only working on #2, but we're hoping for more.

Welcome!

Both of my grandparents came from a large family and I've always wanted a big one.  This is my second baby and DP's third but we wind up with four total so that's not bad I suppose.  Especially since the littlest three will be 3.5, 2.5, and newborn!  Congrats on your new little bean!

I <3 NY.  I lived in Binghamton for a few years before moving back to Ohio to be near the fam.  It was such a nice place to live!
