Now I'm Really Worried « Back to Group Discussions

The OB office just called, and they said that the gestational sac is enlarged. The woman on the phone said she didn't know what it meant, so of course being the worrier/curious person I am, I had to ask "Dr." Google, and all I'm finding out is that a lot of times, it means that you're going to miscarry. I'm so worried, and scared, right now. Anyone have any experience?

My appointment is on the first, so Monday. I'm just going to try really hard not to worry myself too much (easier said than done, I worry about everything).

There is totally hope! I just read a thread on another site where the mom had the same thing told to her (as well as the babies heartbeat being low). She was so worried, but everything ended up fine. At her next ultrasound the sac had shrunk down to normal (that's how she put it) and the heartbeat was normal as well.

 Try to have hope!

Dr. Google can be pretty awesome...but results tend to skew towards worst case scenarios. Hang in there mama! If there's nothing you can do but wait, try and distract yourself if at all possible. (easier said than done, I know)
