How Common is This?

I went for an ultrasound on Friday, and found out the baby measures the same as the dates that I have, and the heartbeat was healthy (165). I guess the OB looked at the ultrasound, and agreed that the dates were correct (8 weeks, 6 days at the time of the ultrasound), but that the yolk sac (which I just started hearing of now, never discussed with DD or DS) is enlarged, but still within "normal" range. I was wondering how common it is to have a seemingly healthy heartbeat, everything measuring correctly, and enlarged sac mean something is wrong or lose the baby?

I don't know how common it is, but 1) yours is still within normal range; and 2) there are arguments out there about the reliability of an enlarged yolk sack (outside of normal range) having any definitive prediction of pregnancy failure.  To the point where even if they told me that mine was too big and they sent me home to miscarry I would probably take it with a grain of salt.  :/
