We had an appointment on yesterday, and after my OB reviewed the anatomy scan that they did at the high risk office with the level two ultrasound she said everything looked great and that she would send them a note saying that I wouldnt be back unless something developed that would enter me back into the high risk category. We are so excited!
I had been three times to the high risk office, and it was terrible. They have all kinds of awful requirements, and my OB is so incredibly awesome about natural childbirth that I was really unhappy about potentially not getting to have her (plus, she is a twin mom herself). So, as long as I can keep these babies in until 35.5 weeks, January 3rd, I'm free and clear to deliver with my OB at my hospital.
Plus, she said that because I have low risk factors for GD, I only have to take the 1 hour test instead of the 3 hour test. Whew!
And, both the babies look fantastic. They are laying transverse, on top of each other, like cuddlebugs. Here is a pic of tops of their heads next to each other,
21 weeks today!
