Wow.  Wow.  Wow.  I'm glad I had time to mentally prepare for it, but wow.  Both looking healthy, measuring right on track.  Separate placentas and separate amniotic sacks.  We asked to not know the gender but wanted to know if they were the same sex or not, but he wasn't able to tell for sure.  It's overwhelming, but I AM excited.  stillheart.gifstillheart.gif

DH has always sort of wanted three kids, and I've been feeling like I'm ready to be done after this one, so I guess we're both getting our wish!

I feel like I've been freaking out about the possibility for the last month, and now that I know I'm actually much less freaked out than I thought I would be LOL.  I'm actually pretty relieved that I wasn't measuring large due to some bad complication or abnormality.  We've got a lot to learn, a lot of details to figure out like a new vehicle, etc, and I'm disappointed to not be able to have a home birth, but overall I'm feeling excited.

Just 4 weeks.  But it really felt like something was up - more than just how I'm built or normal deviation in measurements.  My nausea was also worse and lasted longer than with DD.

yes, it seems 4 weeks ahead is the magic number along with your intuition, good thing you had a hint something was different, I'm sure its nice to be slightly prepared before the shock!  I am also measuring 4 wks ahead at this point and i'm just glad i have had 2 ultrasounds to confirm there is only 1 healthy normal size baby before i started measuring ahead, i think i'd be starting to wonder otherwise!

Wow...that is exciting! I can't imagine finding out at 19 weeks, but at least you had a strong suspicion so it wasn't completely out of left field. Congratulations! There seem to be lots of Feb twin moms.
